About The Wishing Well
Originally built as a farmhouse in the mid-1800s, expansions through the decades turned this the sturdy and quaint stone building into its present-day size. You'll find that the house and property have a lot of character. There are six guest rooms, two fireplaces, wooden floors, ceiling beams, antique furniture, a cozy dining area, and original stone walls.
The well behind the house was once the source of water and is now the namesake for our guesthouse. We encourage you to share photos of yourself with it and share them on social media during your stay. And join our backyard companions while you're there. Cardinals, bluejays, finches, woodpeckers, and many other varieties of birds, as well as rabbits, squirrel and deer all call our back acre their home.
Wander down our "stairway to heaven" and enjoy the woods, wildlife and serenity as you make your way to Aquatong Creek and our private woodlands gazebo. As you descend, you are spiritually transported into the solitude of nature at it's scenic best. In contrast to city life, you'll find that our "home sweet home," is a beacon of tranquility!

What our guests have to say ...
My boyfriend Eric and I selected the Wishing Well on-line out of every B&B in the New Hope area. We had never been there before, and were not sure what to expect... but we read all the reviews and it seemed perfect for us. We were not disappointed. Actually, we never want to stay anywhere else.
"We had the best time"
Great hosts, really hospitable, fantastic location. The house is stunning; it's like a vertical maze and full of character. Will stay here again and have already recommended this place to friends.
