What our guests have to say ...
"I stayed here four nights in September found the creek outback to be beautiful! I walked outside one morning at seven and saw a buck standing in the backyard! Perfect getaway close to downtown New Hope within walking distance!."

"Great hosts, really hospitable, fantastic location. The house is stunning; it's like a vertical maze and full of character. Will stay here again and have already recommended this place to friends."

"What a magical stay we had. My girlfriend I decided to spend the weekend in New Hope and booked what turned out to be the coziest, warmest, most romantic weekend we could have ever wished for. Scott and Michael were incredible hosts. The room and place was charming, beautiful, and perfect. A 20 minute walk from new-hope proper, it's a beautiful stroll along streams and coal-engined train tracks into town. Breakfasts were wonderful with chocolate-chip pancakes, eggs, bacon, and fresh coffee were just some of the things on the menu. The fireplace was truly incredible too. Could not reccommend this place enough and can't wait to come back."

About The Wishing Well
Originally built as a farmhouse in the mid-1800s, expansions through the decades turned this the sturdy and quaint stone building into its present-day size. You'll find that the house and property have a lot of character. There are six guest rooms, two fireplaces, wooden floors, ceiling beams, antique furniture, a cozy dining area, and original stone walls.
The well behind the house was once the source of water and is now the namesake for our guesthouse. We encourage you to share photos of yourself with it and share them on social media during your stay. And join our backyard companions while you're there. Cardinals, bluejays, finches, woodpeckers, and many other varieties of birds, as well as rabbits, squirrel and deer all call our back acre their home.
